We have established an Institute in our Local Church - for GROWTH. As a New Testament Local Church we have endeavored to fulfill the commission given to us in Evangelism and Teaching
MAT 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Growth is the Primary goal as an institute - We are concerned about the Growth of the Individual Christian; it is our desire to see that they grow.
1PE 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
2PE 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
EPH 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Because we believe that it is God's desire as well. We believe that if we can supply the individual Christian with the instruction necessary to grow, the church in turn will grow. We have sought through the preaching to instruct believers for many years and realize that even the time that we have to influence our people is not enough in our regular services.
We have established Hope Institute to teach on a regular basis the truth of the Word of God. We have emphasized the Bible and Bible teaching in our curriculum for this is what a Christian needs most to insure growth. In the Institute we are able to accelerate the time taken to instruct a student through the various books taught. We attempt to expound the word of God - word for word in our classes. We have sought the most qualified teachers in our midst to teach others.
2TI 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
It is not easy to Grow strong healthy Christians in the world today. We are, along with Bible Instruction, giving the students the tools and knowledge necessary to defend themselves and their faith from those who would steal such from us. All of our courses are designed to support the Bible and Individual Christian growth by providing the knowledge and practical experience in ministry that ALL Christians need, not just those called to full time service.
Since we have established the Institute we have seen Growth in interest in learning the Word of God. As a result the Growth in Interest has caused a Growth in class size. It is our belief that this has caused a Growth not only in Individual lives - spiritually - and class sizes in particular but Growth in the Church as well. When we speak of Growth we are not interested in Growth for Growth's sake - but rather for Jesus sake. For that reason we see an increase in the Growth of Grace not only in our Church but in the Community as well.
- Growth as a whole Christian person, mature, balanced - in Body, Soul and Spirit.
- We wish to provide an environment that promotes Growth.
- We wish to provide Practical and Technical Knowledge.
- We desire to influence the Head and Heart for God.
- Working together with the students - providing examples to follow in the faculty.
- Establishing Leadership for the future Growth of the Church.
